By Street and Garden

Yesterday morning we set out early for the Naschmarkt and its multi-ethnic nibbles.

 Chocolates

After the best spicy falafel we'd ever tasted, we were ready for the Belvedere and its famous gardens, where J had a fine time running around (and did a nice job of keeping off the grass).

Following up on that, with our appetites for grand imperial gardens whetted, we paid a visit to Schonbrunn today -- a real gasp-inducer of a place.

J did a good job on our tour of the imperial rooms, and got to stand in the family parlor where the 6-year-old Mozart made his musical debut for Maria-Theresia, Marie Antoinette's mother.
