Finest racetrack west of the Mississippi.
En route to California on the winter solstice, we unexpectedly found ourselves stopped for a night in a Roseburg hotel, narrowly avoiding six hours of being stranded on a snowbound I-5 like some of our fellow motorists.
After a 14-hour detour down Highway 101, we were at Grannie and Grampa's house in time for Santa's Christmas morning surprises.
In Santa Cruz with Gramma, Papa, and Auntie J, we paid a visit to the Henry Cowell redwoods. J found another kiddo with the very same name and for a fun several moments they were in perpetual motion around this mother tree.
We also wandered into Roaring Camp, a stone's throw away...
Too many holiday cookies for Auntie J resulted in this fabulous rocketeer getup for J.
We've been collecting patches at our various noteworthy destinations, and J sports them on a single piece of outerwear!
